Song Choice- Mariah LeBlanc

Title: Firework By: Katy Perry The song Firework by Katy Perry has an awesome beat throughout the entire song. I would interpret this into rhythm and repetition. Because the song is very up tempo, and fast I would interpret it into geometric lines that are close together, and vary in size. The chorus of the song is vary catchy and for some reason I think of organic lines when I hear the chorus, circles to be exact. It is hard not to think of a firework when listening to the song because that is what the song is about. However, despite thinking of a firework I always pictured this song to be very colorful. Unfortunately we can only use one color in this project so I chose the color red. The color red it is bold, vibrant, and captures the essence of the song.
