Molly Clarke- Figure/Ground

This image uses positive and negative space very effectively. At first I saw, in the positive space, two dogs nose to nose. After looking further I saw that there was some sort of architecture created by the negative space, later I found out it was supposed to depict the Seattle Space Needle. The contrasting colors and shapes fool your eye into seeing two images instead of just the one, therefore the figure and ground in this image has made a successful composition.
